In the Western Conference of the playoffs the Golden State Warriors played the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the playoffs and swept them 4-0 with a easy semi-final advance. The Memphis Grizzlies went up against the Portland Blazers and won 4-1 to advance. The Los Angeles Clippers faced the reigning champions the San Antonio Spurs and defeated them in the 7th game of the 1st round. The final two teams in the Western Conference was The Houston Rockets beat the Dallas Mavericks in the 5th game of the first round. The Golden State Warriors will face the Memphis Grizzles and the Huston Rockets will face the Los Angeles Clippers.
In the Eastern Conference of the 1st round of the playoffs the Atlanta Hawks faced the Brooklyn Nets and defeated them 4-2. The Washington Wizards swept the Toronto Raptors 4-0 in the 1st round. The Chicago Bulls beat the Milwaukee Bucks in the 6th game of the 1st round of the playoffs. Lastly the Cleveland Cavaliers destroyed the Boston Celtics in four games. The Atlanta Hawks will face off against the Washington Wizards and the Chicago Bull's vs the Cleveland Cavaliers.
